Michael Hibbard, GPEIG Co-Chair, addressing 40 GPEIG enthuiasts assembled for a lunch/business meeting at the annual ACSP conference, Nov. 9, 2006, in Ft. Worth, Texas.

On Thursday, November 9, 2006, GPEIG held a lunch and a business meeting, followed by a substantive brainstorming/discussion session, moderated by Faranak Miraftab (GPEIG Co-Chair). The session was dedicated to identifying ways GPEIG can take a more active role in pushing the reflective envelop of scholarship on issues of concern to “global planning educators.”

This page serves as an ”INDEX” to the texts, comments, audio files and other resources associated with GPEIG’s ongoing efforts to sharpen its mission in theory and practice. This is just a starting point. More robust participatory methods to help move our critical visioning, agenda setting, collections and civically-engaged outreach can be developed (using wiki technology, global planning grids and other means). Meanwhile, any and all comments/input are most welcome and will be reflected here.
